Welcome to Laura Salinas Therapy, conveniently offering telehealth services through HIPAA protected Alma portal. My mission is to help my patients learn about themselves, resolve conflicts, heal relationships and improve their overall quality of life.
I provide each of my patients with the healing experience of being truly listened to in a safe and confidential environment. I understand that many people have anxiety about psychotherapy, and have created a soothing environment and a flexible scheduling system so that my patients can work to improve their lives while still maintaining their busy lifestyles.
Laura Salinas, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker / psychotherapist in private practice. I am a graduate of the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy where I received advanced training in psychoanalysis. Through that training, I worked at the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health as a clinician, gaining experience working with a diverse group of clients. In addition to my psychoanalytic training, I earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a graduate degree from New York University. I am experienced with a variety of therapeutic techniques which I integrate to best meet the needs of each individual patient.
In addition to my specialization in psychoanalysis, I have specialized trainings in heart centered hypnotherapy, Prepare/Enrich couples therapy and a variety of other modalities.
I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of difficulties; relationship issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, personality issues, adjustment disorders and familial conflict.
